Welcome to First Grade!!!!!

Dear First Grade Families,

Welcome! I will be your child’s First Grade teacher, and I am delighted and honored to have your child in my class this year. I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Serena Marquardt and I am looking forward to a very successful year -- I know you are, too! This is my tenth year of teaching but my first year with Faubion K-8 School and I am so excited to be here.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the year ahead.

I believe that at the start of any new year, communication is the key to a great parent-student-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time.
