Welcome to first grade! I am looking forward to the many adventures this year will bring. I am
especially excited to work with you and your child. Please feel free to
call or e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns throughout
the year. By working together, we can make this a year
of growth, achievement,
and success for your child.We are still working on rules
and routines during this first month together.

expectations!

HomeworkMath, science, and/or word work homework will be sent home every MONDAY. This is meant to be practice of the skills previously taught. Your child should be able to complete the homework independently.Homework is given to students to practice the skills that we have learned in class. Please turn homework in on Friday.Reading at home is essential for the reading success of your child. Students will be given a reading log every week. First graders are asked to read, or be read to, for 20 minutes a night.
