Friendly Reminders

School begins promptly at 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm. Please drop off and pick up on time.

Homework is sent home on Monday. It is to be completed and returned to school on Friday.

Please remind your student to bring their library books back to school!

Reading at home

We are working hard to increase our reading fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills. We need your help! Please have your child read to you for at least 15 minutes every night. If you need books at your child’s level, please let us know.

Drumming Performance

Faubion School K-2 Music Performance

Families are invited to attend a music performance by Faubion K-2 classes.  Students will perform drumming and traditions from Ghana they have learned through a right Brain Residency with artist, Alex Addy, from the Obo Addy Legacy Project

100^th Day of School

Our First Grade classes will be celebrating the 100^th day of school on Wednesday, March 8^th.  We will be doing many fun activities to acknowledge all of the learning that has taken place in these first 100 days!

How-To Writing

We have been working on How-To writing.  This week, your child selected a topic to write about. 

 They will be completing their final draft on Friday, March 10.  You will be able to view them in the writing gallery coming soon!
